Junior Squash at Chapel A

Chapel A is extremely proud to boast one of the most successful and thriving junior squash sections in the country, catering for all standards from beginner to international elite players.

With approximately 100 juniors in the programme and new improved facilities the club offers fantastic opportunities for junior members to improve their game, social play, leagues, competitions and team play.

The club has a clear coaching pathway, with local schools filtering into beginner groups, progressing onto intermediate then into advanced and eventually onto performance sections. With this clear coaching structure the club allows opportunity no matter what your standard. Please contact a member of the coaching team for more details.

Chapel A has a healthy junior competition calendar ranging from more sociable tournaments such as graded tournaments through to national tournaments which attract over 200 juniors from around the country. The club also boasts a strong junior team play element allowing for juniors to play social through to county level team matches.

Congratulations to Edward Stallworthy, Ben Merchant and Robbie Studholme who have all been  selected to play for Yorkshire this season. This is a fantastic achievement for both the boys and  Chapel Allerton. To have three juniors representing their county at three different age groups (Edward U17, Ben U11 and Robbie U15) is a great reflection on the club and testament to the boys hard work.

Despite its size and top quality facilities, junior squash at Chapel A remains a very sociable experience, benefitting from all the other sport and social facilities at the club which make Chapel A such fun. We look forward to welcoming you and showing you around.
